Drama Queen? There are a couple of steps before that!

Here are some things to get you started:

  1. You might want to take drama classes, until you feel you are good enough to perform.
  2. You might want to find a couple of friends and form a drama group.
  3. You can make up your own scripts or get some from a book or the internet.
  4. You will need a place to rehearse and perform.

Here are some tips from the pros:

  • Don't face your back to the audience, they want to see your facial expression.
  • Speak so people can understand what you are saying, unless you are supposed to speak unclearly or quitley.
  • If you are a ten-year-old playing a five-year-old, don't walk on your knees or do something to make yourself shorter. Use your face and body expression to do it.

Acting is very interesting to watch, you can see so many charactors, so many personalities. You can see plays at local theatres, or you can watch videos.

Interesting Activity

Watch a play or movie, and take notes on how the actors play the personality of their role.
